B2B Meetings - How does it work?
A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners on-site. 30 minutes run fast, but they are enough to build first connections before the meeting ends and the next talk starts.
1) Registration
- Register via the Register button
- We recommend to register with only one participant per company / department as several profiles of the same company / department are confusing. Registration of multiple profiles per company will only be activated if each of the cooperations profiles has a clear definded focus, e.g. sales manager offering products, purchase manager looking for manufacturing partners, head of R&D looking for cooperation...
- Very important: Select sessions in "my availability". Later you will be able to choose exact times for confirmed meetings
- Please carefully read and follow the instructions on how to write and publish a meaningful profile and book meetings:
2) Publish a cooperation profile to showcase your needs
- Your profile has to be written in English language, must be meaningful in content and there hast to be a clear link to the renewable energy sector. Create a clear and concise cooperation profile to raise your visibility on the platform. Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer to potential partners, and who you want to meet. We strongly recommend to publish also marketplace items. A good profile will generate significantly more meeting requests. Your profile will be visible before, during and after the event.
3) Browse profiles of attendees
- Go to the participants list to find out who is offering interesting and promising business opportunities. You can search by freetext, business fields or organisation types.
4) Send & receive meeting requests
- Be active not reactive. Browse published participants profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet during the event. Adding a meaningful remark why you are interested in a meeting will increase the chance that your request will be accepted. Accepted meeting requests will be scheduled automatically. Thus you have immediate access to time and location of a meeting. Please note. The booking phase ends on Monday 11th September 2023.
Booking rules?
- Everybody registered for the event with an own profile can send meeting requests to everyone participating in the event
- Incoming meeting requests have to be accepted. They will only be scheduled and appear on your meeting list, when accepted.
5) Matchmaking Event
- You have access to your meetings and in My Agenda, where you have your complete schedule for the event and the list of your meetings.This agenda might be subject to last minute changes, due to cancellation or new requests. Please check your agenda regulary.
- Before the event: If you participate virtually: check your camera and microphone and don't be late! If you are on the fair in Husum and you have a meeting on site, come to the matchmaking area in the Gallery of the Husum Wind 2023on the fair and don't be late!
